MADRAS KERALA SAMAJ (REGD.)

Mr. Suresh Krishna  an alumini of Samajam’s Kerala Vidyalayam School, now the famous serial-cinema star (Karumadikuttan, Rajamanickam,  now in Pazhassiraja script by MT), attended the Onam celebration on 12.9.08 at Dr.C.R.Krishnapilla Hall as Chief Guest.   Mr.Gokulam Gopalan Guest of Honour, President of All India Malayalai Assn.,  Mr.M.Sivadasanpillai, Chairman of Madras Kerala Samaj, Mr.V.Ravunni Menon, Mr.Janardhanan Premier Health Centre were addressed the gathering.President of the Samaj, Dr.TMR Panicker, presided the function. Kumblangad Unnikrishnan welcomed the  members and all friends of Madras Kerala Samaj and vote of thanks by  Mr.N.Sreedharan, treasurer of samaj.

Students of Kerala Vidyalaya, staged their first programme beautifully choriographed by Ms.Priya Krishnadas, based on the Malayalam poems connected with onam,  Malayalam folk songs by Vayalpura Pattusangham of Samaj, cinimatic dance by Ramya Narayanan,  and Veena were  very much attracted by the full packed audience of the hall.   Finally the  Drama, “Daivathinte Sontham Nattil” written by Mr.Rubesh Ravi and Directed by Sri.K.K. Sudheer.    A colourful cultural programme on the Thiruvonam day presented by Madras Kerala Samajam at its 70th year of service to society in Chennai.
