Janab.K.P.Abdulla Haji was the saviour of Chennai Malayalees during 1972-73-74 period, when there was very bad approach against malayalees outbroke in Chennai. Under his leadership, he organised all sections of malayalees under the umbrella of Madras Kerala Samaj, and stepped-in for strong agitations, processions, rajbhavan march etc. and all progressive movements also supported this struggles of Federations of Kerala Associations. After this kind of protests only a peaceful atmosphere returned in the city forthe linguistic minorities. The great leader, Janab.K.P.Abdulla Haji expired on 24.3.09 at Mahe, Kerala, and Madras Kerala Samaj organised a condolence meeting at Samaj on 6.4.09. Mr.SureshBabu, Vice President of CTMA, Sri.A.V. Azeez, Kerala Vidyalayam, Mr.Ramachandran of Gandhi Dharsan Samithi were spoke in the condolence meeting. Dr.TMR Panicker presided over the function.
